Electrocauterization

Electrocauterization (ECT) is the procedure most often used in the treatment of condyloma. In this method, instruments of different shapes (loops or balls) are heated with low-voltage current in order to remove the changes with thermal energy.
Depending on the spread and localization, it is done under general or local anesthesia.
Duration up to 30 minutes. The patient is usually able to resume daily activities right after the intervention.
