There is a possibility that the cause may not be discovered and such a condition is called idiopathic sterility, however with certain treatment methods it is possible to cure such sterility.

Tests for men

General examination: includes a genital examination and questions including medical history, medications you use and sexual habits.

Spermogram: the most important test for men. In the laboratory, sperm quantity, color and the presence of infectious agents or blood are analyzed. The number of spermatozoa, shape and mobility are determined.

Hysterosalpingography: the condition of the uterus and fallopian tubes is checked. The liquid is injected into the uterus and an x-ray is used to determine whether the liquid has reached the fallopian tubes. It is possible to determine whether there is a fallopian tube blockage and where it is located. This can be cured by surgery.

Ultrasound: it is possible to determine if there is any deformation in the genital system.
